Halloween is now just two weekends away. Are you still searching for fun, easy homemade Halloween costume ideas? Some of my students thought of a few more: Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater (boy or man with name sign “Peter” on front and back pretending to eat a pumpkin), cereal killer (cereal box costume with dripping blood, rubber knife, and crazed person makeup), baby back ribs (baby costume with rib bones on its back), star light, star bright (two people – each wearing a cardboard star costume – one holds a dim flashlight inside and the other a brighter flashlight inside their costume – label them), Rita’s (large paper cup costume decorated as a Rita’s cup with favorite flavor on top around person’s head), kitty litter (cat costume with pieces of garbage litter attached to the costume).
My children and grandchildren have been:
- Honey Pot (Winnie the Pooh)
- Cupcake
- Christmas Tree
- 50’s Girl
- Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie
- Rock ‘n Roll Girl
- Baseball Trophy
- Vampire in a Coffin (wheelchair necessary for fractured knee growth plate)
- Rabbit in a Magician’s Hat
