It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is an animated TV special created by Charles M. Schultz. The story parallels a child’s faithful belief in Santa – sending the Great Pumpkin a letter and believing the Great Pumpkin will come on Halloween night – even though his friends ridicule him because they don’t believe.
