At the beginning of May, our third grandchild will be born…a boy. The new arrival will be the third for our oldest daughter…giving them two girls and a boy. Poppy and I also have two girls and a boy, with our son as the youngest.

We’re still busy with their activities, but on a larger scale. It’s been 10 years since the last wedding and now our son and his fiance are in the final stages of planning their wedding for the end of May. He’s our youngest, our baby. (He’d be so embarrassed if he found out I referred to him in that way, here on NanasCorner.com for so many to read.)

The last to be ordered (so I thought) are the groomsmen gifts. Our son asked me to help search (he hates shopping) for something the groomsmen would actually use and wouldn’t become a dust collector or put away in the back of a drawer. I searched some sites and found a family owned company’s website specializing in groomsmen gifts and best man gifts with a 110% price guarantee. To show his appreciation even more, I suggested he take advantage of their “free” offer and get his guys personalized groomsmens gifts , which I haven’t found on other quality sites. For his best man’s gift, I think he should order something different from what he gives his groomsmen.
He can’t decide what to get them. He’s open to suggestions and asked me to ask my visitors to take a look and help him out…the big event is approaching fast…just a few weeks after the birth of our grandson…
Congratulations to your son and his fiancee. I’m not going to get into the gift-giving question as I really don’t like shopping. I do have a cute story about my son, though. My son was living with us after his divorce. One morning we had some friends over for cards. I told them to be quiet or they would wake “the baby.” Sure enough, he came downstairs right on cue, looking sleepy–my 35-year-old son. Ever since then, he’s been “the baby” to our friends.
