At the beginning of May, our third grandchild will be born…a boy. The new arrival will be the third for our oldest daughter…giving them two girls and a boy. Poppy and I also have two girls and a boy, with our son as the youngest.

I don’t know where the time has gone. It seems like yesterday our children were young and keeping us very busy going to soccer games, dance lessons, softball/baseball, football games, driving them to parties, and then driving lessons, proms, and college events…

We’re still busy with their activities, but on a larger scale. It’s been 10 years since the last wedding and now our son and his fiance are in the final stages of planning their wedding for the end of May. He’s our youngest, our baby. (He’d be so embarrassed if he found out  I referred to him in that way, here on NanasCorner.com for so many to read.)

Well, the wedding plans are all in place with most of the details ironed out. Our son is a detail kind of guy. He and his bride-to-be have taken care of the photographer and videographer, favors, transportation, attire, and everything else that they want included in their special day. We’ve taken care of the rehearsal dinner arrangements and flowers, the bridal shower plans are finalized, and it’s almost time for the invitations to be mailed. (Oh, I thought they had everything covered – he just IM’d me about place cards and wedding program designs…more for me to do…I love it!)

The last to be ordered (so I thought) are the groomsmen gifts. Our son asked me to help search (he hates shopping) for something the groomsmen would actually use and wouldn’t become a dust collector or put away in the back of a drawer. I searched some sites and found a family owned company’s website specializing in groomsmen gifts and best man gifts with a 110% price guarantee. To show his appreciation even more, I suggested he take advantage of their “free” offer and get his guys personalized groomsmens gifts , which I haven’t found on other quality sites.  For his best man’s gift, I think he should order something different from what he gives his groomsmen.

He can’t decide what to get them. He’s open to suggestions and asked me to ask my visitors to take a look and help him out…the big event is approaching fast…just a few weeks after the birth of our grandson…
