Friendship Poems: I Miss You, My Friend

Friendship poems not only express the joy that close friendships bring to our lives, but friendship poems may also express the sadness of a lost friendship. There are many reasons why a friendship may have ended. Some are better for it, but other friendships may be worth saving. Sending a short friendship poem may be a way to let a lost friend know that you miss the close friendship you once shared.

I Miss You, My Friend

We promised to follow the road of life together

Yet, there came a time when you took a different path

It seems we lost our friendship along the way

For now we walk together never more

I don’t know why this has to be

I miss you, my friend…

Find your way back to me.
