Examples of Alliteration: A Valentine Poem

Alliteration in a love poem makes the words flow more romantically. A love poem is something that every girl or woman would treasure receiving on Valentine’s Day. The best Valentine’s Day gift is one that comes from the heart. Gifts of jewelry, flowers, or chocolates are traditional Valentine’s Day gifts that don’t take much effort or imagination in choosing and can be sent or purchased at the last minute. Including an original love poem would make any Valentine’s Day gift more meaningful and remembered for a very long time.

Hold My Heart

How many times have I told you,
Valentine,
when you hold my hand
happiness holds my heart.

With the beauty of your being,
time stands still,
the sun always shines,
the stars always sparkle.

Now that you are my love, my life…
Hold my heart
Always and forever.
