Easter Poem: Easter Bunny Poem

Enjoy celebrating Spring and Easter with grandkids and kids of all ages by reciting this happy Easter poem, Busy Easter Bunny by Jane-Ann Heitmueller, just before everyone begins their much anticipated Easter Egg hunt!

Busy Easter Bunny

by Jane-Ann Heitmueller

I watched him placing Easter eggs

amongst the pretty flowers.

The ones springtime had brought our way

with bright sunshine and showers.

Oh, such a busy, happy fellow

dashing on his way,

was Mr. Rabbit getting ready

for our Easter Day.

He hummed a joyful bunny tune,

hop, hopping here and there.

His heavy basket filled with eggs

he couldn’t wait to share.

A rainbow load of pinks and purples,

reds and greens and blues

hidden by Mr. Easter Rabbit

for us all to choose.
