Creating an alliteration poem example is fun! All you have to do is choose one beginning consonant sound, find words that begin with that sound that can describe or relate to an object or theme. For the poem below, I’ve chosen words that describe my common cold that I’m currently suffering from.

COMMON COLD

My cold…
caught
common condition
contagious…
causing coughs
congestion…
cold capsules
Chloreseptic…
comfy couch
coping
re-
cuperating…

Hope you feel better soon! In my part of the world, we are all suffering from allergies, stemming from the usual springtime bloom of pollen, plus a lack of rain to wash the pollen out of the air.
