Thanksgiving is next week, so since I wrote a Halloween alliteration poem last year, I thought it only right that I add a Thanksgiving poem using alliteration this year. If you and/or your class write a Thanksgiving alliteration poem(s), I will publish it for you (first name, first name and last initial, or first name and school name, or teacher’s name and school name, if you’d like to be recognized); send the poems to Nana@NanasCorner.com. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving

Plenty of Pilgrims and Tribesmen

traveled to town today

telling tales of tasty trimmings,

toil and preparation…

potatoes, parsnips, and pumpkins…

turnips, tomatoes, and turkeys…

succotash, squash and stuffing…

mixed, mashed, and marinated…

strangers sitting side by side,

thankful…Thanksgiving
