I was only 6 months along but he was still our precious baby boy! He was perfect in every way. We could'nt wait to start our new life along with his. We decided that we would have him cremated so he could be @ home with us @ all times where he belonged. We also got 2 cremation memory necklaces that we had some of his ashes put into so he is with us every where we go! RIP: Donovan 09-02-09! My husband & I just recently lost our first child. I didn't know that such items existed. I've recently learned about other kinds of bereavement jewelry, such as items that commemorate miscarriages. I can see how such items would be comforting. I know when I wear a piece of jewelry bought for me by someone special, I always think of that person. My father's caregiver buys a piece of jewelry in memory of each of her patients who has passed away. This is an interesting post. I didn’t know that such items existed.
