I so enjoyed reading Beowulf and Gerard Manley Hopkins again. My favorite Hopkins is "Spring and Fall: To a Young Child." My favorite line, "Though worlds of wanwood leafmeal lie." His use of the sounds of W, L and S make the poem sound absolutely wonderful, and it is very profound in theme as well. Thanks for this post!
