Handprint poems can be a fun activity for grandparents and grandchildren together when placing their  handprints next to the poem. For the new handprint poem below, choose two colors - one for the grandparent’s prints that will be an attractive contrast to blue or pink for the grandchild’s prints.

First place the grandparent’s hand in acrylic paint and then stamp their handprint onto cardstock which can be found at a craft store. Do the same if they are willing, with their footprint, too.  Allow the grandparent’s prints to dry. Next, do the same with the grandchild’s handprint and footprint but place them on top of the grandparent’s using pink or blue.
