Grandpa, Teach It All to Me
Grandpa,
Did Mother Goose know Dr. Seuss?
Why did the woman live in a shoe?
Grandpa,
How could a cow jump over the moon?
Why did the dish run away with the spoon?
Grandpa,
I’m going to be four.
I want to know more than before.
Grandpa,
My questions are not done.
I’ve only just begun.
Grandpa,
I want to learn it all,
But the big kids say I’m too small.
Grandpa,
How do you fly a plane?
Who drives the train?
Grandpa,
Teach it all to me,
While I’m still only three.
